Technically Speaking

Today was my first day as an associate technical writer in Salt Lake City, Utah.

First, having a fullt-time job is going to be fun! I have my own cubicle, and I have a lot of autonomy in my work and schedule.

Today I did a lot of new HR/hiring stuff, and the day flew by. This is going to be a great job!!

This week I was offered my first full-time job: as an associate technical writer for a software development company in their Salt Lake City office. I graduate from Brigham Young University on Friday of this week, and in about two weeks I’ll be starting at my new job.

This is going to be a good change. I’ve worked part-time as a technical writer for about four years, and now that I am graduating, I’m exicited to work full-time in the industry.
